Ingredients
- For Marination: Indian fish curry.
- ½ fish pieces.
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste.
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder.
- ½ tsp red chili powder.
- Salt.
- For fish curry
- 2 tbsp oil.
- 2 chopped onions.
- 2 chopped tomatoes.
- ½ tsp fennel seeds (saunf).
- 2 tbsp cashew nuts paste.
- 1 tsp red chili powder.
- ½ cumin (jeera).
- 2 green chili.
- 1-2 bay leafs.
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste.
- 1 tsp garam masala.
- 1 tsp fish curry powder.
Method
Step 1
Take a bowl add a fish pieces and marination ingredients in bowl and mix well. And keep a aside for 2 hours.
Step 2
Take pan heat a pan. Add a oil in pan.
Step 3
Add chopped onions in pan and fry until a golden brown color of chopped onions.
Step 4
Add a chopped tomatoes in pan. And fry for 3-4minutes.
Step 5
After that add a cashew nuts paste, red chili powder, fennel seeds(saunf), turmeric powder in pan and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Step 6
Keep a pan aside for cooling the item in pan. After that grind the pan items in blender. Make it in smooth paste.
Step 7
Take a another pan heat it. Add 1 tsp oil in pan and add a fish pieces and fry the fish pieces until the golden color of fish pieces in both side.
Step 8
After fish pieces fry Take pan and Add a 1 tbsp oil in pan.
Step 9
Add 1 tsp cumin(jeera ) in pan.
Step 10
Add chopped onions, curry leaves and green chilies in pan and fry until the golden brown color of onion.
Step 11
Add ginger-garlic paste in pan and fry until the raw smell.
Step 12
After that add red chili powder and garam masala in pan mix well and fry for 2 minutes.
Step 13
Add ½ cup of water in pan for gravy. After gravy start a boiling keep boiling for 5-8 minutes in medium flame.
Step 14
Add a fish pieces in pan and cook for 10-12 minutes for proper fish dish.
Step 15
After 10 minutes fish curry is ready to eat.
Step 16
You can also garnish with coriander leaves, mint leaves, etc.
